The Highland Heart

The Highland Heart is a free paper published weekly in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Every Friday copies are distributed to businesses, eateries and waiting rooms throughout Antigonish Town & County as well as Guysborough Town.

Originally launched in March of 2010 by Julia Fields, The Highland Heart was briefly operated by Natalie Brown during the spring and summer of 2011. On September 24th, 2011, the first issue under its current owner, Simply Ducky, was released.

Since our first issue, printed double sided on a single sheet of paper, the Highland Heart has grown into an eight page booklet that is distributed to over forty locations throughout Antigonish Town & County (and just recently throughout Guysborough Town) and is read by hundreds of people each day.
