Tina Weller was born in Comox, B.C. and, while she has lived in other parts of the country, she is happy to call Nova Scotia her home; saying she and her husband Russell and their two dogs love it here. Also, as her Grandparents (Zinck was her maiden name) and many generations before all came from the Lunenburg area, she feels her roots are firmly established in the province. The Highland Heart, tinawellersept2014

As an Independent Stampin’Up! Demonstrator, Tina was one of the first of 10 people to become part of the Canadian arm of the US based company. Stampin’Up! is a family business that was started in 1988 by the Gardner family of Riverton, Utah.  Tina has been an independent demonstrator since 2002, and helps people discover and share their creativity through an exclusive line of decorative stamp sets and an abundance of accessories.  You can make cards for any occasion, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, baby showers, condolences, thank you, etc.  However Stampin’Up! is not just about card making; you can also make gift and packaging with cool boxes, bags, together with the many accessories available to dress them up.

Stampin’Up! has partnered with Becky Higgins to develop ‘Project Life Products’.  It is a simple, very affordable way to get your photos into albums.  You start with the album, and then add the pres-designed photo pages, then your pictures, then embellish with a large selection of accessories which bring colour, design and space for journaling.  Lastly you can add your  own words with acid-free, fade resistant journaling pens, and Voila!, you have a back to basics coordinated approach to scrapbooking and documenting special periods in your life.

From home décor to personalized name tags to designer paper for every occasion, there is everything you need to bring out your artistic side.  The classic stampin’ pads come in a wide variety of colours; the ‘In Colour Collection’, the Brights, the Subtles or softer tones, the Regals or strong colours, and the Neutrals with black to white and everything in between colours.  The stamps themselves come in several styles, the traditional wood mount, with one maple block for each stamp, the clear mount stamp, which are blocks made from clear acrylic, onto which stamps can be placed then removed for easy storage, and the photopolymer stamps which are clear stamps on clear blocks.  Stamping is not limited to paper, but can be done on many mediums.

Tina is very good at what she does and since becoming a full-time Independent Demonstrator she has earned incentive trips to Florida’s Disney World, South Carolina and a Western Caribbean Cruise last year. For 2015 she will be taking the “Grand Vacation Incentive Trip” to Hawaii, and is one of the top 20 demonstrators in Canada, which has earned her trips to Utah for the annual ‘Founders Circle Retreat’.  She is also number 2 in Canada for demonstration of leadership skills. Tina leads a group of 60 individuals across the country which involves signing folks up, training, marketing, demonstrating how to grow their own businesses, and ensuring they have the skills to succeed.  She helps them plan classes, provides reward and recognition for achieved goals.  She also has a Facebook community page for sharing successes and ideas, and where virtual team meetings can be had.  Since arriving here, Tina has started a club in Antigonish with a second to begin in March.

Future plans for Tina, include the hosting of ‘Crafting Retreats’ and ‘Wellness Weekends’ at her beautiful country property in College Grant.  Stay tuned for more on this!

Besides being a Stampin’Up! Demonstrator, Tina is also an Ambassador for “Plexus Worldwide” a Health & Wellness company featuring products geared towards detoxification, weight loss, joint/muscle problems, body cream and breast self-examination kits.
